Why Would God Care About You? Here's the Truth

I want to remind you today—you are so important to God. Think of the parable Jesus told about the lost sheep in Luke 15:4-7. A shepherd had 100 sheep, but when just one went missing, he left the 99 to find that one. The shepherd’s joy at finding his lost sheep wasn’t just about numbers; it was about the value of that one. That’s you in God’s eyes—worth the search, worth the rescue.

This story shows how deeply God cares for each of us individually. He isn’t just concerned with the crowd; He’s concerned with you. It’s easy to feel small or insignificant, but God doesn’t see you that way. You are cherished, seen, and known. When life feels overwhelming, remember that you matter to Him—so much so that He would go to any length to bring you back to Himself. Never forget how important you are to God.

Reflection & Call to Action: Take a moment today to remind yourself: “I am seen and valued by God.” Write it down somewhere you’ll see it. And think of one way you can embrace His love for you today. Maybe it’s through prayer, reading a scripture, or just taking a moment to breathe in His love.

Verse of the Day: Indeed, the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Don’t be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows." - Luke 12:7 (NIV)

Song of the Day: Here’s a song from my friend that’ll make your day: Your Love Is a Wonder. Let it remind you just how deeply God values you and the unchanging love He has for you.
