When God's Questions Feel Too Hard

Have you ever quit a job application halfway through because they’re asking too much? You get through your qualifications, and then they hit you with, “Why do you want to work here?” or “Where do you see yourself in five years?”—maybe even, “What’s your biggest weakness?” We’ve all been there. Some of these questions feel outdated, but they still ask them anyway. And sometimes, it’s enough to make you just want to walk away.

Sometimes, we feel like God is asking too much from us too—like He’s giving us a "spiritual interview" with questions that seem overwhelming. “Why this season of waiting?” “What’s next for me, Lord?” It’s easy to get frustrated with the process and feel like quitting halfway. But just like those job interviews, there’s a purpose behind every “why” and “what’s next” with God. He’s not just preparing us for where we are—He’s shaping us for something greater ahead.

Verse of the Day: James 1:4 Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.

Song of the Day: Trust in you- Lauren Daigle. This song speaks to trusting God, even when things don’t make sense.
