What to do when you don't know what to do

King Jehoshaphat in 2 Chronicles 20. Faced with an overwhelming army, he didn’t know what to do. But instead of panicking, he turned to God. He gathered the people, declared a fast, and prayed: “We do not know what to do, but our eyes are on You.”

In that moment of uncertainty, Jehoshaphat didn’t rely on his strength or strategy. He glorified God, trusted Him, and let God fight the battle. The result? Victory without lifting a sword.

There are times we face situations that leave us completely unsure of what to do. Take a page out of Jehoshaphat’s story—don’t panic, worship. Worship declares, 'God, I don’t have the answers, but You do.' It’s an act of surrender that shifts your focus from the problem to the Problem Solver.

Reflection: What situation in your life requires you to worship instead of worry? How can you trust God to fight the battle for you?
