The Weight doesn't matter

During a friendly backyard BBQ, someone picked up a balloon and asked their fellow guests, 'How heavy is this balloon?' As people made their guesses, the person with the balloon smiled and shared, 'The absolute weight doesn't matter. It's how long I hold it. A minute or two, it's light. An hour, it aches. A day, it's crippling.

God urges us to exchange worry for prayer and thanksgiving. Like the balloon, our burdens weigh us down if held too long. Discover lasting peace by releasing them to God.

Verse of the Day: Phillippians 4:6-7: Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
