Warning!

Today, quit running to men first, run to God and He will send the men to help. Sometimes your storm is an indication that God wants your attention. Safety and security is in Him not people.

There is this story about King David. The Amalekites invaded a city in Israel and took all the women and children captive. When David learned about it, here's what he did. David inquired of the Lord, saying, “Should I pursue this raiding party? Will I overtake them?

Now there's this other story about another king in the Bible. King Ahaziah was injured in battle and sent messengers to consult Baal-zebub, the god of Ekron, to find out whether he would recover from the illness and injury. The prophet Elijah intercepted the messengers and conveyed God’s message that Ahaziah would die because he had sought a pagan god instead of the God of Israel.

Today, quit running to men first, run to God and He will send the men to help. Sometimes your storm is an indication that God wants your attention. Safety and security is in Him not people.

Verse of the Day: Proverbs 3:5-6.Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.

Here’s a good song to start your week. Run to the father.
