Verse of the Day: The one who calls you is faithful, and he will do it." – 1 Thessalonians 5:24
I’ve heard this song many times, but last Sunday, it hit different—like a personal reminder from God that He has never failed. Here’s the song
Walking around these walls
I thought by now they'd fall
But You have never failed me yet
Waiting for change to come
Knowing the battle's won
For You have never failed me yet
Your promise still stands
Great is Your faithfulness, faithfulness
I'm still in Your hands
This is my confidence
You've never failed me yet
I know the night won't last
Your word will come to pass
My heart will sing Your praise again
Here’s the break down:
Walking around these walls — Sometimes life feels like endless circles. We walk and walk, praying, hoping, trusting, yet the walls still stand.
I thought by now they'd fall — Maybe you had a timeline in your head. Maybe you thought it would be over by now.
But You have never failed me yet — Even when the walls don’t fall when we expect, God’s record of faithfulness remains spotless.
Waiting for change to come — Waiting is hard. But it’s not wasted. It’s holy.
Knowing the battle's won — We’re not fighting for victory—we're standing in victory.
Your promise still stands — His promises don’t have an expiration date.
Great is Your faithfulness — Even when our faith waivers, His faithfulness never does.
I'm still in Your hands — Safe. Secure. Held.
Jesus You're still enough — In the waiting, in the walking, in the wondering—He is enough.
Reflection: Where have you been "walking around walls" lately? What promises are you still holding onto?
