This is who you are

Who in the world would dare to wake up a king at 3:00 a.m. just to ask for a glass of water? Only the king’s child would. The king may rule the kingdom, but to the child, he’s still “Dad.”

That’s who you are—a child of the King. You have that kind of access to God. He isn’t just the Creator of the universe; He’s your Heavenly Father. As His child, you don’t need to schedule an appointment or wait for the “right time” to approach Him. You can come boldly to His throne of grace, day or night, knowing that He loves you and cares deeply about your needs.

Whatever’s on your heart, bring it to Him. No request is too small, and no need is too insignificant for your father. He is always ready to listen, always ready to respond.

Reflection: Take a moment today to thank God for the privilege of calling Him Father and approaching Him anytime, with anything.
