This is probably one of the top stories in the Bible

There are a ton of amazing stories in the Bible, but this one stood out for me—probably because it feels so real.

In 1 Kings 17, there’s this widow whose resources were running out. She had just a handful of flour and a little oil left. For her, this was it. The end. She was preparing to make one final meal for herself and her son—what she believed would be their last.
But Elijah brought a word from the Lord:
“Do not be afraid… the jar of flour will not be used up and the jug of oil will not run dry until the day the Lord sends rain on the land” (1 Kings 17:13-14).

And guess what? God came through. That little oil and flour never ran out. What seemed like the end was just the beginning of God’s provision.

As the year winds down, it’s easy to feel like time is running out—like the opportunities are over, the miracles are spent, and the strength we had is gone. But here’s the truth:
God has not run out of strength. He has not run out of solutions. He’s not finished working in your life.
