The worst thing you can do

There’s a story in the Bible about Abraham and Lot. Lot was Abraham's nephew. Abraham and Lot had been traveling together, but their growing wealth—flocks, herds, and tents—led to conflict between their herdsmen. To avoid further strife, Abraham offered Lot the first choice of land.

“If you go to the left, I’ll go to the right; if you go to the right, I’ll go to the left,” Abraham told him (Genesis 13:9). Lot looked out and chose the lush, fertile plains of the Jordan Valley, while Abraham humbly settled in the less appealing land of Canaan.

Lot saw green land and made his choice. Abraham, however, knew that anywhere with God is Greenland, so he chose God instead. The lesson is clear: When making decisions, don’t just go by what looks good—go with God. His presence transforms every place into a land of blessing.

Verse of the Day: Proverbs 3:5-6- Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.

Song of the Day: I Will Follow- Chris Tomlin. A beautiful reminder to trust God and follow Him, no matter the direction He leads.
