The mindset of a praying christian
He will come and save you
One of the top stories about the genealogy of Israel is Joseph’s journey. God gave him dreams of greatness, yet his life took a downward spiral—betrayed by his brothers, sold into slavery, and falsely imprisoned. It seemed like nothing was aligning with the promises God had shown him. But when God’s timing arrived, Joseph was elevated to second in command over Egypt, fulfilling his purpose and preserving his family’s future (Genesis 37, 39–41).
As a PRAYING CHRISTIAN, run with a mindset that whatever you don’t currently have is by God’s doing. The Bible reminds us in James 1:17 that “Every good and perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights.” If God wants you to have it, He will make it happen.
Joseph didn’t miss out, and neither are you. Your process is not slow; it’s purposeful. When it’s time, God makes everything beautiful. Prayer positions you to receive from Him, but it’s God who knows the perfect moment to release the blessing.
Reflection: What are you trusting God to release in His perfect time?
Verse of the Day: Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.” — James 1:17
