Self Care Tip

Verse of the Day: “If your Presence does not go with us, do not send us up from here.” – Exodus 33:15

Face masks, spa days, warm teas—they’re all good.Take care of your body, get your rest.
But let’s be honest…The best form of self-care isn’t external.It’s not skin-deep.
It’s soul-deep. It’s His presence.

When Moses stood at the edge of the unknown, God offered him an angel to lead the way. But Moses wasn’t after good vibes or positive energy.
He said, “If Your presence doesn’t go with us, don’t send us.”

And David—when his camp was raided and his people taken—he didn’t react first.
He paused and asked God,
“Shall I pursue?”
God answered,
“Pursue. You will surely overtake and recover all.” (1 Samuel 30:8)

David didn’t trust his sword. He trusted God’s voice.

Because even if you have every tool, tactic, and therapist— If God’s presence isn’t in it…
You’re running on empty.
So yes, book the massage. Drink the herbal tea.
But more importantly—invite His presence.

Let it go before you. Let it surround you.Let it heal you.

Reflection: Is there any area of your life where you’ve been moving without first asking for His presence? What would change if you waited on Him today?

Prayer: Lord, I’m tired of doing life in my own strength. If You’re not in it, I don’t want it.
Lead me. Refresh me. Be the presence I carry into every room today.
