Do you remember this guy?

Is there no one still left of the house of Saul to whom I can show God's kindness?" 2 Samuel 9:1-13

Mephibosheth was the son of Jonathan and grandson of King Saul. After the deaths of Saul and Jonathan, David showed him kindness for the sake of his father Jonathan, welcoming him to eat at his table despite his disability.

In the story of Mephibosheth, we see how God's mercy and kindness endures. Just as King David sought to show kindness to Jonathan's son, God remembers us, even in our brokenness. When life leaves us feeling crippled, His grace shines brightly. In those moments, we can rest in the assurance that His love and favor are unwavering, just as David remembered Mephibosheth.

Take a moment to think about times in your life when God's kindness and faithfulness shone through, even in challenging circumstances. In moments of doubt or hardship, remember that just as God didn't forget Mephibosheth, He won't forget you either.
