PTO Request: Denied.

You open your email, hoping for an approval. You need the break. You’ve been working tirelessly, pushing through deadlines, and just one day off would help you reset.
Then you see it—"Request Denied."
Frustrating, right? You needed that rest, but instead, you have to keep going. No break, no relief, just more work.

But isn’t that how life feels sometimes? You pray for a breakthrough, a change, some kind of relief—but instead, it seems like God’s response is, “Not yet.” No open doors, no instant solutions—just a season of waiting. Ever felt like that?

Joseph sat in prison, wondering when his own "Request Approved" would come. Hannah wept for a child year after year before Samuel was born. Even Jesus, before stepping into ministry, had 30 years of preparation before His time came.
Just because your "request" seems denied or delayed doesn’t mean it’s permanent. Sometimes, what looks like a rejection is actually a divine redirection—God setting you up for something better, greater, and perfectly timed.

Isaiah 40:31 says,
"But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint."

So if you’re in a waiting season—feeling like your prayers are on hold—remember this: God’s timing is never off. Keep trusting. Keep showing up. Your “Approved” is on the way.

Reflection: Instead of asking, "Why is this taking so long?" try asking, "God, what are You preparing me for?"
