One thing about God
Jesus was teaching by a lake and the crowd were pressing in to hear him. He saw two boats by the lake and the fishermen were washing their nets.
They had labored hard throughout the night without catching any fish. These guys were experienced fishermen and knew there were no fish to catch. yet at Jesus’s words, they let down the nets once more.
According to the scriptures they caught so many fish that the nets began to tear. And so their faith was rewarded.

When you lay a matter before God, you should trust Him so much that you are willing to accept His will and be obedient to the prompting of His spirit no matter what.
Forget what others think or say. Trust God unconditionally and He will reward your faith
Reflection: Are you willing to try again, even when it doesn’t make sense?
Sometimes faith looks like casting your net one more time simply because Jesus said so. Obedience may feel foolish in the moment, but it always positions us for God’s best. What step is God asking you to take today?
Prayer: Lord, help me trust You beyond logic. Give me the faith to obey even when it feels pointless or uncertain. Remind me that Your voice is greater than my doubt, and Your plan is always for my good. I lay it before You, guide me, lead me, and I will follow.
Verse of the Day: Luke 5:5–6 (NIV) Simon answered, ‘Master, we’ve worked hard all night and haven’t caught anything. But because you say so, I will let down the nets.’ When they had done so, they caught such a large number of fish that their nets began to break.
Song of the Day: Trust in You by Lauren Daigle. A powerful anthem for learning to let go and follow God's lead, even when we don't understand.
