One of the Scariest stories in the Bible

One of the scariest stories in the bible was when Jesus was with his disciples in a boat.

After teaching and feeding the crowd, Jesus and his disciples got into a boat. Jesus fell asleep, and a fierce storm arose, filling the boat with water. The disciples woke him, saying, "Teacher, don't you care if we drown?" Jesus rebuked the wind and waves, saying, "Peace, be still," and the storm calmed. He then asked, "Why are you afraid? Do you still have no faith?

If I were in the boat at that time, I would equally be afraid. I have been fearful on many occasions, worrying about every little thing and forgetting the power and presence of Jesus. Not until I started truly trusting Him did I find peace.

Today, instead of saying, "Don't you care if I drown?" remember that Jesus is with you, ready to calm your storms.

Verse of the Day: Mark 4:39-  He got up, rebuked the wind and said to the waves, “Quiet! Be still!” Then the wind died down and it was completely calm.
