New Post

One of my favorite ads is from Specsavers. It features a delivery driver who hauls a huge package up ten flights of stairs, only to find out he got the address wrong. The ad ends with the iconic line, "He should have gone to Specsavers," capturing his frustration perfectly.
We can only imagine his frustration as he faced the choice of carrying the heavy package back down and finding the correct address or just quitting altogether. Either way, it was a situation anyone would dread.
That gentleman would have given anything to get it right the first time, but his misjudgment set the stage for hours of frustration.

This reminded me of the value of vision. If the eyes are bad, it could be very costly for a destiny.

Jesus said: The eye is the lamp of the body. So, if your eye is healthy, your whole body will be full of light, but if your eye is bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. If then the light in you is darkness, how great is the darkness!’ Matthew 6:22-23

Today, I pray for you: ‘I will lead the blind by ways they have not known, along unfamiliar paths I will guide them; I will turn the darkness into light before them and make the rough places smooth. These are the things I will do; I will not forsake them.’ Isaiah 42:16

Our God can lead us in the way we have not known and guide us along unfamiliar paths. He then promises to turn darkness into light before us. This is beautiful because it shows that we can afford to trust in Him, rest in Him and see through Him. If we do, we will never get it wrong. (We might not even need Specsavers! Lol)
