My new favorite Bible Verse

The other day, I overheard someone ranting about how their life wasn’t going according to plan. It reminded me of Sarah and Abraham. By human standards, they were far too old to have children. Yet, God promised them a son, and though it seemed delayed, His timing was perfect.

Genesis 21:2 says, “Sarah became pregnant and bore a son to Abraham in his old age, at the very time God had promised him.” Isaac’s birth was proof that God’s timing is not just good—it’s perfect.

Stop running your life by the human calendar and start aligning with God’s calendar. Some people are exactly where they are supposed to be but still wish for someone else's life.

Who says if you don’t have certain things by a specific age, you're not living? Stop putting yourself under unnecessary pressure because you’re not married yet, don’t have children, or haven’t achieved a particular milestone.

God’s timing isn’t dictated by human-defined standards. Trust His plan, and let go of the pressure to perform according to worldly timelines.

Pray this prayer: Lord, help me to trust Your timing and not be overwhelmed by the world’s expectations. Teach me to live by Your will and not my own calendar.

Verse of the Day: Is anything too hard for the Lord? At the appointed time I will return to you, according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son.” – Genesis 18:14
