Keep this in mind

There’s this story in the Bible about Job’s friends. They heard about his intense suffering and immediately went to be with him. For seven days, they sat in silence, simply being present as Job grieved (Job 2:13). They didn’t have the answers, and they didn’t need to. Sometimes, just showing up with compassion speaks louder than words.

As you carry your own burdens, remember that someone near you might be silently struggling too. You never know who’s whispering, “Lord, I need You.” Sometimes, our quiet acts of kindness or even a simple prayer can be the balm that soothes their spirit.

Reflection & Question: Take a moment today to pray for someone who may be silently struggling. Who might need your silent support today, and how can you offer it?
