How to help when you can't see the person crying for help

I stumbled on a story about a woman who was on here usual morning walk/run. She got to a point where she was meant to turn around, then her eye caught a writing on the bridge wall. The statement in the writing was ‘I hate my life’. the statement shocked her and after that, compassion welled in her heart and she was wishing she met the person who wrote this distressing note, whom I genuinely believe is crying for help. She felt like she needed to do something to help, but unfortunately the writer was no longer there.

Reflection: Even when we can't see or fully understand the struggles of those around us, our prayers can reach them. By lifting up others in prayer, we invite God's presence into their lives, offering them the hope and support they may not even realize they need.

Call to Action: Today, take a moment to pray for those around you, whether you know their struggles or not. Trust God to use you to make a difference and be attentive to the subtle signs of distress. Your prayers and words of hope can be a lifeline to someone in despair.

Verse of the Day: The LORD is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit. - Psalm 34:18 (NIV)
