It's the hardest thing to give away

Have you ever felt this way? “I have forgiven, but I cannot forget the hurt.” You are not alone.

We are called to forgive an offender, but the memory lingers.

The pain of the memory is real and it’s not in your power as a human to forget an offense, but grace comes in when we turn the injury into compassion, by the power of the Holy Spirit, you are able to pray for the person who have offended you.

Most often, an offender has felt the hurt they are transferring to you.

As you turn offense into compassion, you become transformed in your mind. You become better. You are stronger. You have stamina to overcome.

Pray this prayer: Lord, when I find it difficult to forgive, help me to see with your eyes of compassion and pray for those who hurt me instead.

Verse of the Day: “Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.” - Ephesians 4:32 (NIV)

Song of the Day: "Forgiveness" by Matthew West. Let its powerful message of grace and letting go inspire you today.
