A grown man ran away from a Cicada!

I saw a post on facebook the other day, The person said the following:

"I just saw a grown man run away from a Cicada! A whole head of household...screaming high pitched."

So for those who don't know what Cicada is. they are massive broods of bugs that come out periodically, every 13 or every 17 years depending on the brood. I currently live in a cicada-filled area.

There are some fun comments on the post but as i thought about this i remembered Elisha's Servant. Elisha's servant panicked when he saw an army surrounding their city, thinking they were doomed. Elisha prayed, and God opened the servant's eyes to see the hills full of horses and chariots of fire, showing God's protection (2 Kings 6:15-17).

DO NOT BE THIS GROWN man running away from a CIcada.

What we perceive as overwhelming challenges is often small in God’s sight. Like a grown man running from a cicada, our fears often exaggerate reality. If we trust in the bigger picture and have faith, we'll see that our problems might not be as daunting as they seem.
