Google

Google recently released a new feature a few days ago, and I decided to check it out. As I played around with it, I was genuinely impressed — it was innovative, useful, and honestly kind of fun. Naturally, I forwarded it to a few friends, thinking they’d be just as excited.

Sure enough, they were wowed too. But then one of them asked, “Is it free?”
I told him, “Yeah, there’s a 30-day free trial. You should definitely try it.”
His reply caught me off guard: “It’s not available in my country yet.”

As I thought about my friend who couldn’t access that Google feature in his country, I started thinking about how we sometimes take for granted the blessings we have — especially the spiritual ones.

We have access to God’s presence, His Word, His grace, and His peace, yet many of us treat those things like they’ll always be there, or like they don’t hold much value. We forget that what we’ve been given as children of God is not common.

There are people around the world who long for just a page of Scripture. Some can’t worship freely. Some haven’t even heard the name Jesus. Meanwhile, we can worship anytime, pray anywhere, and carry the entire Bible in our pockets.

It’s easy to get so familiar with God’s presence that we forget what a privilege it is.

Let’s not take it lightly. Let’s approach God with gratitude — not just because we have access, but because He chose to make Himself available to us through Jesus.

Verse of the Day:
"Blessed are those who have learned to acclaim you, who walk in the light of your presence, Lord." – Psalm 89:15 (NIV)
