God's provision

Four siblings, ages one to fourteen, were found alive in Colombia’s Amazon jungle in 2023.
They had survived 40 days in the jungle after a tragic plane crash that claimed their mother’s life.
The children hid from wild animals in hollowed-out tree trunks, collected rainwater and stream water in bottles, ate food salvaged from the wreckage, and used their knowledge of safe wild fruits and seeds.
God sustained them through what seemed impossible—proving once again that His hand can protect, provide, and preserve even in the harshest places.

The story of these children reminds me of how God sustained the Israelites during their 40 years in the wilderness.
He turned bitter water into drinkable water, brought water from a rock—not once, but twice, guided them with a pillar of cloud by day and a pillar of fire by night, and provided daily manna from heaven for their nourishment.
Their clothes did not wear out, and their feet did not swell, even after decades of wandering.
The same faithful God who provided then is still alive today—and we can trust Him to supply all our needs according to His riches in glory.
