A gentle Answer

I read about an Airbnb host who was eagerly preparing to welcome new guests. The property was thoroughly cleaned by the housekeepers, and everything was set for their arrival. On the day of check-in, the host received an angry message from the guests, followed by another complaint about the house not being properly prepared. Perplexed and unsure of what to do, the host's daughter suggested simply apologizing. Acting on this, the host quickly apologized and arranged for immediate cleanup. The guests returned, had a great stay, and even left a positive review.

As I thought about it, I remembered the scripture that says:

"A gentle answer turns away anger, but a harsh word stirs up anger."Proverbs 15:1

The way we address a matter can determine the outcome we experience in situations. In life, whether we are in the right or have been wronged, choosing to pray and speak gently can clear the air and lead to positive results. Gentle words matter—so embrace them.
