Even now

One of the most famous friendships in the Bible is the friendship between Jesus, Mary, Martha, and Lazarus. Check out this story.

There was a time Lazarus was sick, and word was sent to Jesus that His friend was ill. Jesus stayed back two more days, and Lazarus was dead before He could get to Bethany. When Jesus arrived, one of Lazarus' sisters told Jesus that if He had been there earlier, Lazarus would not have died. BUT EVEN NOW, whatever you ask of God, God will give it to you. John 11:14-27

This is for someone who is weary. Even when you hear the word of God, something in you has died. Hope has been so deferred that it’s as if you can’t see God’s faithfulness anymore. BUT EVEN NOW. You've been disappointed repeatedly. BUT EVEN NOW, God is still faithful.

Even if you are not sick physically but your spirit is broken, my prayer for you today is that you be healed of all brokenness.

Verse of the Day: Verse of the Day: Psalm 34:18 The LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.
