This Bible Verse Could Change Your Entire Day

I've attended numerous events where the person being celebrated has no idea it's even happening—it's usually a surprise. Just this past weekend, I was at a baby shower- yes, men do attend BShowers. The celebrant’s reaction was priceless; she was utterly taken aback and moved to tears of joy. It was a beautiful moment, seeing her genuine surprise and happiness. After she had composed herself and settled into the celebration, she looked around and pointed to a few of us, saying "So, you too knew about this all along?" We all laughed.

As I thought about the surprise event(s), I couldn't help but think of the verse from Matthew 10:36, where Jesus speaks about how a person's enemies can be those within their own household. It's a reminder that our closest relationships have the power to either uplift us to greatness or contribute to our downfall. They are the ones who see us at our best and our worst.

Today, be the one who brings joy and positivity to everyone around us, especially to those closest to us.
