Behind the Scene
I was at a music recording studio the other day, and some popular artists came in—not just to record, but to spend hours in the writers' room, shaping lyrics, adjusting melodies, and building songs line by line.
They weren’t rushing.
They were laboring behind the scenes to create something worth sharing with the world.
It reminded me of how God often works in us in the hidden places—just like David, who spent years in the field with sheep before ever standing before Goliath (1 Samuel 16–17).
God was training his hands for battle long before anyone applauded.
As I thought about those artists, it hit me—what we admire in public is built through quiet faithfulness in private.
David killed a lion and a bear in private before ever slinging a stone at Goliath (1 Samuel 17:34–36).
Esther fasted and prayed before she stood before the king (Esther 4:16).
Even Jesus spent 30 years in quiet preparation before performing His first miracle (Luke 2:51–52,).
God honors the hidden work.
The “writers’ room” moments may not be seen, but they are sacred.
So whether you’re raising kids, learning a craft, studying the Word, or simply trying to obey in your quiet season—God sees it.
📌 “Your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.”
