This is how he became the King

Here's a quick bible story.
Saul was the first king of Israel. Here's how he became a king. He was on a quest to find his father's lost donkeys. In his quest he sought out Samuel, a prophet on guidance on where to find them. Saul didn't realize that God had revealed to Samuel the previous day that he would become the future king of Israel.

When Samuel told him he'll become the king, Saul was perplexed and he said- " But I'm only from the tribe of Benjamin, the smallest tribe in Israel, and my family is the least important of all the families of that tribe. Why are you talking like this to me?" Long story short he became the first king of Israel

We are like Saul. Sometimes we are not aware of what is ahead of us. God is always working behind the scenes, making plans for our future. Saul was searching for donkeys, but God had a bigger plan for him. A plan that would change his life forever.

Verse of the Day: Jeremiah 29:11, For I know the plans I have for you,' declares the Lord, 'plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
