Be Careful What You Call Yours
One of the most faith filled moments in the Bible is in 2 Kings 4. A woman, known only as the Shunammite, showed kindness to Elisha and made room in her home. She was later blessed with a son, who tragically died. But when asked if everything was okay, she said, "It is well." She refused to give death the final word—and her faith opened the door to a miracle.

Sometimes we casually claim things that were never ours to carry. We say things like, “My anxiety,” “This sickness I’m managing,” “My struggle with failure.”
But words are more than just expressions, they’re agreements. And agreement has power. If you're a child of God, you don’t have to accept every storm as your identity. The Shunammite woman could have said, “My son is dead.” Instead, she declared, “It is well.”
Reflection: Are you speaking faith over your life, or are you giving your storm a seat at your table? God didn’t call you to own every attack — He called you to overcome it.
Prayer: Father, today I choose to speak life. I declare Your promises over my situation, not fear, not doubt. Help me recognize when I’m accepting what You never intended for me to carry.
Verse of the Day: Let the weak say, I am strong. Joel 3:10b
Song of the Day: Good, Good father
